|About Dr. Russell:
Dr. Russell is Assistant Professor and Extension Economist in the Agricultural Economics Department, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M University System. He holds a B.S.B.A. (2009) in Finance and Ph.D. (2013) in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University with emphases in farm and agribusiness management and agricultural finance. His research interests include efficiency and productivity analysis for farms and cooperatives, the economics of capital structure, and the economics of agricultural production. Dr. Russell’s primary responsibilities involve development and delivery of extension educational programs and applied research for industry audiences in the 18 counties of the Coastal Bend, including farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses.
