Graduate Student Association (GSA)
|
The Graduate Student Association (GSA) welcomes all students in the Department of Agricultural Economics to actively participate. The GSA promotes academic, professional, and social interaction among the department's graduate students and between the students and faculty. GSA representatives serve on various committees on both the Department and University levels. The GSA officers also serve as the liaison in conveying concerns and recommendations of the students to the Department Administration.
The GSA participates in a number of services and activities including new graduate student recruitment, the graduate computer lab, periodic faculty-student mixers, an annual spring barbecue, an annual Faculty Recognition Award, and travel scholarships for students presenting at professional meetings.
Monthly meetings are held to discuss issues pertinent to our members. Please view the minutes of our recent meetings for information on upcoming events. |
