Macro Requirements for MS Study


Students planning to enter the Master's program in the Department of Agricultural Economics should prepare themselves by completing the following study:

Macroeconomic Theory (ECON 410)

Theory of the determination of aggregate levels of national income, employment and prices; monetary and fiscal policy analysis, effects of government debt and deficits. This course studies the economic behavior of society as a whole. The overall price level, inflation rate, international exchange rate, unemployment rate, and GDP, as well as government interventions are addressed.
