Dr. John Penson

About Dr. Penson, Jr.:
Dr. John B. Penson, Jr. is Regents Professor and Stiles Professor of Agriculture in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. Dr. Penson conducts research in the areas of finance and the macroeconomics of agriculture. He is the recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award from both the American Agricultural Economics Association and the Western Agricultural Economic Association. He received the Distinguished Performance Award – University Level in both teaching and research from the Association of Former Students at Texas A&M University. In addition to research awards received from the American Agricultural Economics Association, Dr. Penson received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the College of Agriculture at Southern Illinois University and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Agricultural Economics Association.
