Fred Boadu - Assistant Department Head
Fred Boadu, is the Assistant Department Head for Undergraduate Student Affairs and a professor of Agricultural Economics. Dr. Boadu holds a law degree from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. He is a 2005-2006 Risk Policy Fellow, selected by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He can be reached at f-boadu@tamu.edu.
Pam Vernon - Senior Academic Advisor II
Pam Vernon has been employed by Texas A&M for 30 years, the last 20 years in the Department of Agricultural Economics. She was born and raised in Iola, Texas, and worked a couple of years in a big city (Houston) which gives her the ability to relate to students from all backgrounds. In addition to providing academic assistance to students, she works with the Department’s scholarship program. Pam is a member of the University Advisors and Counselors, The ATM Mentors program and serves as co-chair for the College of Ag’s Counselor Retreat held each fall and spring. Pam has been married to her husband, Bobby, for 30 years and they both enjoy spoiling their cats Boots and Maynard. She can be reached at

Donna Adcock - Academic Advisor II
Donna Adcock has returned to the Department of Agricultural Economics Department to become the newest member of the student advising team. She was raised on a farm/ranch in Pflugerville, Texas. After receiving her degree in Agricultural Economics from TAMU in 1987, she worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. She returned to TAMU as a student and received her MS in Agricultural Economics in 1992. Donna has worked as an Extension Associate with the Economic Development Unit of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service; in TAMU's Admissions Office; and with the Economic Development Department at the City of Bryan. Lauren Johnson - Academic Advisor
Lauren Johnson is the newest member of the Agricultural Economics Department’s student advising team. She is from Bryan/ College Station and graduated from Bryan High School in 2006. Lauren has worked at Texas A&M University since her freshman year of college. She was employed as a student worker by the Borlaug Institute for International Agriculture while she studied to earn her B.S. in Agricultural Leadership and Development in 2011. After graduating, Lauren worked in the Records Section of the Office of the Registrar where she assisted students and academic advisors daily. Donna Chester - Administrative Assistant
Donna Chester is the Administrative Assistant for Undergraduate Programs. She is a California native and has lived in Texas for the past 26 years. She has been with the University for 12 years. She is currently pursuing a degree in Emergency Management and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). She is married to Steven Chester and has 1 daughter and two grandchildren.
Brandy Dangelmayr - Student Technician
Brandy Dangelmayr is a student technician in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office. She is from Muenster, Texas, and expects to graduate in May 2013 with a degree in Agribusiness. She joined the Undergraduate Office team in September 2010. She can be reached at BDangelmayr@agecon.tamu.edu

Meredith Larson is a student technician in the Agricultural Economics Undergraduate Office.
