From a young age, Melissa Pittman of College Station, Texas, has watched her grandfather develop his own company, Coldwell Banker United, Realtors and become one of the most successful and best realtors in the business. She is now planning on graduating with a degree in Agricultural Leadership and Development, with a minor in Agribusiness Entrepreneurship and her AGEC 425 project called NewPhase Investments Aggie Shack.
Melissa said, “I wanted to be a part of the Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program because my dream is to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps and start my own real estate company that will hopefully be successful like his. I wanted to learn more about what it takes to start your own business.” She has discovered through the program the difficulty of starting a business.
However, she believes that knowing the numbers and going step-by-step through the process makes it a lot easier. Melissa says that the program has been one of the most challenging things that she has done through her college career both academically and personally, but it has prepared her well for her journey after graduation at Coldwell Banker United, Realtors!
Best of luck to Melissa Pittman and NewPhase Investments Aggie Shacks at the Texas Farm Credit Entrepreneurial Dreams Symposium and her future endeavors at Coldwell Banker United, Realtors!
