Desmond Ng, Ph.D. is an associate professor of agribusiness and strategy management. Ng’s research is mainly focused on the interstices of strategic management and agribusiness. A focus of Ng’s research program is to examine strategic issues at multiple levels of analysis that span intra-firm, firm, inter-firm and market level processes. This involves drawing from varied disciplinary areas that include management, psychology, sociology and evolutionary thinking; including complex system perspectives. He has published in journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Small Business Development and Enterprise Development, Journal of Strategy and Management, Emergence, Journal of Chain and Network Science, International Food and Agribusiness Management Review and other related journals. Dr. Ng is current serving on the editorial boards of Human System Management, and the International Journal of Complexity, Leadership and Management.
