Selected Publications
Dr. Mani Rouhi Rad is an Assistant Professor in the Agricultural Economics department at Texas A&M University. He is an environmental and resource economist, and his major areas of interest are the economics and management of water resources, including water quantity and quality, and studying the effectiveness of environmental and resource management policies. He also has an undergraduate degree in civil engineering and his research is interdisciplinary. In his research, he has worked with hydrologists, engineers, and soil, crop and climate modelers. He has published in journals such as PNAS, JEEM, and JAERE. He has been a PI and Co-PI on several federal and state grant projects involving the management of agricultural water pollution, effectiveness of agri-environmental policies that provide ecosystem services, such as soil carbon sequestration.
