Professional Summary
Joseph Johnson is an instructional assistant professor for the Texas A&M Financial Planning Program in the Department of Agricultural Economics. He teaches Introduction to Personal Finance, Risk Management, and the Financial Planning Capstone courses, preparing students for careers as financial planners. Before academia, Joseph held several business leadership roles, which honed his client services acumen. He brings this real-world experience into the classroom to provide students with practical insights into the financial planning profession.
He is a member of the Financial Services Competition and Financial ConNEXTion Conference. He actively participates to stay current on the latest industry trends, serves on the competition’s planning committee, and mentors students to help them build professional networks.
