Professional Summary
Dr. Bampasidou is an Associate Professor Research in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on farm operation financial-and labor-management decisions. Areas of interest include the debt structure of farm operations, land access and real-estate debt in financial decision-making, labor supply choices, workforce development, training, and guest-worker program use. Prior to joining Texas A&M U, she was an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University where she developed multidisciplinary programs for specialty crop producers. She actively contributes to the academic community currently serving as a Director for the Southern Agricultural Economics Association and the VP of Research for the Food Distribution Research Society.
