The Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University offers an enhanced learning experience to qualified students majoring in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness. Participation in the AGEC Honors Program enriches a student’s college experience by offering scholastically-challenging curriculum and stimulating an interest in research.

We offer an undergraduate degree in agricultural economics at the the Texas A&M University Higher Education Center at McAllen, where students in South Texas get the best of both worlds. Students in McAllen benefit from being a part of the larger Texas A&M University family, but can attend classes closer to home with a small college feel.
