2025 Graduate Research Symposium
The Texas A&M Agricultural Economics Department, in collaboration with the department’s Graduate Student Association (GSA), is presenting its Graduate Symposium this Spring! This is an excellent opportunity to present your research in a conference-type setting and receive invaluable feedback from peers, faculty, and other experts in the area. Spring Town Hall
AGEC GSA will be hosting our Spring 2025 Town Hall with Dr. Nayga on Friday, February 21st from 2:30-3:00pm in AGLS 309E. Everyone is welcome to attend. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns you would like to be asked during the Town Hall, please write them in the link below. All responses will be anonymous. If you are unable to attend the meeting, GSA will provide a meeting recap in our monthly email update. Flyer attached.

February Cultural Presentation
A presentation celebrating Chinese New Year allowed students and faculty to learn the history, cultural significance, and traditions associated with it while eating traditional festival snacks.

GSA Christmas Potluck
Students and faculty enjoyed delicious food and engaged in fun games for this years Christmas social.

GSA Friendsgiving Social
GSA hosted a Thanksgiving gathering were students and faculty shared festive treats and took time to reflect on individuals in the department they are most thankful for.

Travel Grant Funds
Masters and PhD students can receive the up to the following levels of funding for travel expenses if they are presenting research or a paper.
- Tier 1: $400 (Base)
- Tier 2: $500 (Out-of-state travel)
- Tier 3: $600 (International travel)
