Aggie REPS

Aggie REPS is a leadership organization in the Department of Agricultural Economics established to promote undergraduate activities and to function as a liaison between faculty and students. Aggie REPS host several activities for all undergraduates in the Department of Agricultural Economics and also serve as hosts to prospective students, their parents and other campus visitors.

Join the Aggie REPS

Aggie REPS are a select group of agricultural economics and and agribusiness undergraduate students who assist with new student orientation, student mentoring, department and campus tours and student-to-faculty communication. The selection process involves both written applications and interviews. Aggie REPS are selected based on academic qualifications, leadership capabilities, personality characteristics and commitment to service.

Requirements

Aggie REPS must:

  • Major in AGBL, AGBU or AGEC, FINP
  • Classify as a second-semester freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-semester senior
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPR of 2.50. While serving as an Aggie REP, individual semester GPRs must be at or above 2.50 for a course load of 12 or greater hours.

Aggie REPS applications are due in the spring semester and are interviewed by the advisors. The incoming cohort is also announced in the spring. If you have any questions, contact one of the advisors or a current Aggie Rep.
